ASTRON GPS SOLAR
Astron GPS Solar. With the strong, sleek lines of the Seiko Astron, the world’s first commercially available quartz watch, today’s Astron is designed for a new generation of leaders, breaking through to the future with excellence in both innovation and style. Strong and distinctive, with its perfectly sculpted octagonal titanium bezel in rose gold finish, this dynamic timepiece combines solid tailoring with the highest degree of accuracy possible in a wristwatch. Powered by Seiko’s new GPS solar caliber 3X62, with the improved receiver sensitivity required by the metallic bezel, this exceptional watch is GPS controlled for high-speed time and time zone adjustment to 39 time zones, and includes an in-flight mode and perpetual date calendar correct to the year 2100. To ensure smooth operation, the watch is equipped with a signal reception result indicator and power save function. The solar cell is powered by light energy, with no battery change required. With a new pressed pattern inspired by crystals in homage to the original quartz Astron, the black dial features a multi-function indicator subdial for easy mode reference, as well as rose gold accents, sharp and highly visible three-dimensional applied indices, and LumiBrite hands and markers. Crafted of light and durable titanium, with rose gold-finish bezel and crown, and a super-hard coating for added endurance, this superb timepiece also offers a sapphire crystal with super-clear coating, secure screwdown caseback and tri-fold push button release clasp with smart-adjuster function. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant
